A co-production between the Royal Shakespeare Company and amateur companies across the UK

This is an arrangement developed between the RSC and Equity

Everyman Theatre

Everyman Theatre Cardiff, Cardiff’s liveliest and most adventurous theatre company, was founded in 1942. It started life as the Unity Theatre Group, focusing on mainly political theatre, but later broke away and embarked on its own policy of presenting experimental live theatre in as professional and interesting a manner as possible.

Following the touring performances of A Midsummer Night’s Dream: A Play for the Nation; the professional company will be returning to Stratford-upon-Avon for a series of performances with each amateur group in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
