The Best Bottoms In The Land: BBC Documentary Date Announced!

Over the last few months we have been touring the UK with our production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Here’s why the guys from the BBC have been following us around!

The BBC have been filming us on tour. Why? They’re making an insightful documentary which will give you a behind-the-scenes look at how we make theatre.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream is unlike any other production we have done before. Six of the key parts – including the famous role of Bottom – are played in each town or city by actors from local amateur theatre companies, who then perform alongside our professional cast each night.

This is their story.

Tune in to BBC One on Friday 20 May at 7.30pm. Find out more about where the programme will be available to watch from, on the BBC website.
